UN17 Balance

In close collaboration with the Royal Danish Academy – Institute of Architecture and Technology and Rose & Rose, we introduce the UN17 – BALANCE. The new design is created to increase focus on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The aim is to make the viewer more aware of the commitments in a subtle manner that discreetly leads their thoughts to the importance of taking action to reach the 17 SDGs. Rose & Rose says: “We are excited about the final expression and the elegant solution that we have developed together with Ole Flensted. With the mobile, we aimed to create a positive visualization of the balance between the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and how interaction with each goal affects the others. The organic forms with the subtle shades of the SDG colors each represent the goals. The mobile is not just a symbol of our commitments – it is also hanging art that balances aesthetics and spiritual contemplation to create peace of mind.”

The UN17 – BALANCE is not just a symbol of sustainability; it is a piece of hanging art, that gracefully balances adding both aesthetic appeal and a mindful touch to any environment.

Enjoy completing the assembly of this ‘flat-packed’ mobile. The hangers and strings are ready but the coloured parts need to be slotted together to balance the UN-17 BALANCE mobile.
